Police Station Update

This week the Board of Selectmen is signing the contract with the general contractor, RAC Builders of Agawam, MA, for the construction of the new police station. RAC was the low bidder with a contract price of $4,047,000 for the cost of construction. RAC hopes to get a permit for the building foundation within the next few days to allow foundation work to begin right after Thanksgiving. It is our plan to get this important step completed before the ground freezes.
