Finance Committee

The Finance Committee was established under Article 29 of the February 5, 1940 Town Meeting.  Article VI of the General Bylaws, outlines membership, quorum requirements, and duties of the Committee.

The members of this committee are appointed by the Board of Selectmen for a 3-year term. The Finance Committee consists of 9 voters who do not hold elected positions.

Capital Investment Board

The Capital Investment Board (CIB) was established by the Massachusetts Legislature in Chapter 117 of the Acts of 1995. The CIB is comprised of seven voters of West Boylston, of whom at least four are members of the Finance Committee. The members are appointed by the Moderator for a term of three years.
