Building Department

The Building Department is open 7:30 a.m. to noon Monday - Friday.    Inspections are available by appointment Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to Noon.

All Permit applications/checks, etc. can be put into the drop box located in the parking lot  if the office is closed.

All permit application forms are available online, but we do not have the ability to accept online payment.    Forms can be printed out and mailed in or brought to the office with the appropriate payment.

The Building Department provides for public safety through the administration and enforcement of the State Building, Electrical, Plumbing and Gas codes and the enforcement of the Zoning by-Laws of the Town of West Boylston.

The Plumbing & Gas Inspector is responsible for the inspection and approval of new piping systems and alterations of existing systems for compliance with the provisions of Massachusetts Plumbing and Gas Codes.  He is also responsible for investigating complaints concerning the safety of gas and plumbing installations.
