It is the vision of the West Boylston Fire Department to provide superior service to the residents, businesses and visitors of the Town of West Boylston.

Mission Statement

The mission of the West Boylston Fire Department is:

  • To save lives and reduce suffering by providing the highest-level of emergency medical services.
  • To protect the lives and property of the people of West Boylston from fire, disaster, hazardous materials and other emergency incidents.
  • To prevent fires and minimize other emergencies through prevention, education and preplanning programs and to provide information and training in areas where the health and wellness of the community can be improved.

The West Boylston Fire Department provides Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services for the Town. The Department is considered a combination department with 7 career personnel members and 20 dedicated call members. Full-time staff consists of the Chief and 7 full-time Firefighters/EMTs or Paramedics who staff the station 7 days a week 0700-0700. The call members consist of Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics and recruit firefighters who respond to calls around the clock.  Our equipment consists of 2 Engines, 1 Ladder/Quint, 1 Heavy Rescue, 2 Forestry Trucks and 2 Ambulances. Both ambulances are equipped to provide care to patients at the Advanced Life Support level.
