Mission
The West Boylston Council on Aging will identify, promote and provide for the needs of the elder citizens of West Boylston through services which consist of community participation as well as social, nutritional, health, recreational and educational programs.

The Council on Aging was established by town meeting vote on April 8, 1974 under Article 20. It was voted to establish a Council on Aging consisting of not less than three nor more than seven members who shall be registered voters of the town and who shall be appointed for the purpose of coordinating or carrying out programs designed to meet the problems of the aging in coordination with programs of the Commission on Aging established under Section 73 of Chapter 6 of the General Laws of the State of Massachusetts.

The Council On Aging consists of 7 residents who are appointed by the Town Administrator to 3-year terms.
