News From the Town Administrator

The Board of Cemetery Trustees has made the Town aware that we are steadily using our available cemetery plots, and the time has come to look for land in which to develop additional cemetery spaces. As a goal for this year, the Selectmen have committed to working with the Cemetery Trustees to conduct a search for available land, within the bounds of West Boylston, for cemetery expansion. A formal Request for Proposals (RFP) is being advertised next week seeking proposals from West Boylston land owners who have approximately 15 acres of undeveloped land available for sale to the Town.   The RFP process has established parameters of the types of land that would best fit the needs of the Town, as well as details as to what information must be submitted by interested land owners. This information is clearly spelled out in the RFP document, which is available in my office.  Proposals from interested land owners must be received in my office by 2:00 pm on Monday, February 6, 2017.
