Identifying Public Local Charities in the Town or Charities that Support our Town Residents

I am reaching out to you today seeking your assistance in identifying pubic local charities/non-profit organizations located in the Town or those who provide services to the residents of the Town.

The Host Community Agreements the Selectboard signed with the two establishments who received licenses to be recreational marijuana distributors in the Town of West Boylston  called for the establishment to make annual payments of $50,000 to public local charities/non-profit organizations located in the Town or those which provide services to citizens of the Town. They also signed a Host Community Agreement with a grower which calls for the establishment to make annual payments of $25,000 to public local charities/nonprofit organizations located in the Town or those which provide services to the citizens of the Town.   The selection of the charity is to be determined at the discretion of the Company.

We are in the process of compiling a list of public local charities and registered non-profit organizations.  If you know of any organization that fits this criteria, please email me at nlucier@westboylston-ma.gov so it can be added to the list, which we will provide to these three establishments.

Your assistance is appreciated,

Thank you,

Nancy Lucier, Town Administrator
