Worcester Street (Route 12) Sidewalk Reconstruction Project
MassDOT, through its contractor, Lynch, will be reconstructing the Worcester Street (Route 12) curbing and sidewalk from the Reservoir to the Town Common. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday March 27th, weather depending. Typical work hours are from 7:00AM to 3:00PM Monday through Friday. MassDOT anticipates some site enabling activities beginning tomorrow, Friday March 24th, in preparation for beginning construction next week.
We understand that this process is noisy, messy, and disruptive and apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience. We know you will enjoy the improved appearance and condition of the sidewalk for many years in the future.
