Plumbing Permit & Fee Schedule

Individuals that perform plumbing work in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts must be licensed.

All licensed person must register with the Town’s Building Department and provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to beginning any work.  No permits will be given unless there is a currently valid license and Certificate of Insurance on file.

Plumbing permit fee is $60.00 per inspection.

Residential Plumbing Permit Fees

• Hot water Heaters:   $60.00 plus Gas Permit if required
• New single or two family dwellings:   $180.00 
• All other work:   $60.00 per inspection

Commercial Plumbing Permit Fees

• New commercial building:  $250.00 base fee covers up to 20 fixtures (3 inspections included)
• All other work:  $60.00 per inspection

Re-inspection Fees

• $60.00 per inspection
