Wachusett Watershed Regional Recycling Center - Winter Hours Start November 1st

Winter (November-March) open hours every Tuesday 10am - noon, Thursdays 2-4 pm, and the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9am - noon.  Summer (April-October) open hours every Tuesday 9-11am, Thursdays 4-6 pm, and the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9am - noon. The Recycling Center is open to residents of seven Wachusett Towns:  Boylston, Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, Sterling and West Boylston.  The collection is provided by Wachusett Earthday, the Department of Conservation and Recreation, and the seven Wachusett Towns.

The Recycle Center welcomes most items to be recycled or disposed of safely as well as reusable home goods, furniture, crafts, sporting goods, fabric, bicycles, school supplies and small appliances to be passed on to residents and families in need.  See their website for current fees and acceptable materials.  Please be sure that your items are clean and sorted.  Items need to be clean to be recycled and items for reuse should be shelf ready.  Items being dropped off for the ReUse building need to be in boxes that close and weigh no more than 30 lbs.  Thank you!

Directions to the Wachusett Watershed Regional Recycling Center:  I-190, Exit 9, north one block on Route 140 to light, left on Legg Road and travel 0.8 mile to the entrance on the right.  Or Laurel Street, West Boylston or Manning Street, Holden to Raymond Huntington Highway (parallel with I-190 at Holden/West Boylston town line).
