Flags across West Boylston have been lowered to half-mast in loving memory of Nancy E. Lucier who peacefully passed away this past weekend.

Nancy was a lifelong resident of West Boylston who served the Town for nearly forty years, most recently serving as Town Administrator from 2019 until her retirement in 2022.  Nancy was a true champion for all things West Boylston and advocated tirelessly to secure grant funding, legislative earmarks, and other funding sources to help move the Town forward.  She was successful in planning and completing major sidewalk upgrades across the Town, making the community safer and more walk-able.  She was also instrumental in the Town's designation as "Green Community", the completion of several major municipal building projects, the launch of the Town's ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, the return of food trucks to the Reservoir Triangle, and countless other projects and initiatives.

Nancy left an indelible mark on the Town of West Boylston and the Town will forever be a better place to live and work because of her dedicated service.  As a community, we extend our sincere condolences to Nancy's family and thank them for sharing her with us.  The complete obituary for Nancy E.
