WEST BOYLSTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

A public hearing will be held in accordance with the General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40, the 
Wetlands Protection Act, on the application of the West Boylston Municipal Light Plant, Request for 
Determination of Applicability, for a Battery Energy Storage Project (BESS) at 225 Shrewsbury 
Street, West Boylston, MA.  The work will involve grading, installation of stormwater BMP’s, 
trenching, backfill and compaction of trenches, pouring  of concrete, placement of battery 
containers and ancillary equipment, laying of fabric, final grading, installation of a fence and 
complete electrical work.
The public hearing will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 6:00 pm, at the West Boylston Town 
Offices, 140 Worcester Street, West Boylston, MA.
