Still need to dispose of your old trash or recycling containers?

Good news!

Throughout the rest of July, West Boylston residents may drop off bulky rigid plastic containers at no charge during normal open hours listed below, or until the designated dumpster reaches capacity. The Town of West Boylston is covering the disposal cost.

Drop off schedule:

TuesdaysThursdaysSaturday
July 14, 21 and 28July 16, 23, 30July 18
9:00 am - 11:00 am4:00 pm - 6:00 pm9:00 am - 12:00 pm

What to Expect:

Because these drop-off times are during our regular operating hours, please follow these steps:

  • Upon entering the site, take an immediate right and stop at the Check-In Station.
  •  Show proof of West Boylston residency and let volunteers know you are dropping off old trash or recycling containers.
  •  There is no charge for these containers. The Town is covering the disposal cost.
  •  If you also wish to drop off other items, normal disposal fees will apply. Staff will calculate any applicable fees, which may be paid by cash, check, or credit card, and will direct you where to go.
  • Container drop-offs will take place at the Hazardous Waste Pad at the far end of the site. Simply leave your containers outside the designated dumpster, and our volunteers will load them later.
  • You're welcome to use the rest of the Recycling Center during your visit, just as you normally would.

Can't Make These Times?

If none of these seven additional drop-off opportunities fit your schedule, call the Recycling Center at 978-464-2854. If there is still room in the dumpster, we'll do our best to arrange another drop-off appointment.

Please note that after this special collection period ends, residents may still bring these containers during regular operating hours, but the normal disposal fee will apply.
