Notice of a Public Hearing

 

The West Boylston Board of Health gives notice that it will hold a public hearing on proposed regulations to establish minimum standards for the keeping of animals not regulated under the right to farm bylaw  to support residents' ability to participate in the growing national trend for responsible, small-scale agricultural protection while protecting public health, safety and welfare in West Boylston. The Hearing will take place on Wednesday, the 25th of March at 6 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda permits, in the Land Use Room at Town Hall, West Boylston, MA 01583.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on both the overall intent and the specifics of the proposed regulations.  These proposed regulations may be viewed at www.westboylston-ma.gov/board-health/pages/regulations and paper copies may be found at the Board of Health Office in Town Hall and Beaman Memorial Public Library during normal business hours.  Any interested person may submit written comments and questions on this matter by email to boardofhealth@westboylston-ma.gov prior to the opening of the Public Hearing.
