2018
At a Special Town Meeting held on February 28, 2018, voters approved Article 1 by the required 2/3 majority. Article 1 appropriated the sum of $4,600,000 to construct the new facility and to purchase related equipment and cover architect and owners project management costs. (This Special Town Meeting was originally scheduled for February 26, 2018 but had to be postponed due to weather and posting issues.)
A Special Town Election on February 27, 2018 asked voters to approve a ballot question to exclude this amount for this project only from the provisions of Proposition 2 1/2. This question was approved.

2017
At the May 15,2017 Town Meeting, voters approved Article 4 which appropriated $1.1 million to cover the cost of full engineering and design of the new Senior Center facility, though the bidding, owner's project management costs and a portion of construction costs.
This approval was subject to approval by the voters of a ballot question to exclude this amount for this project only from the provisions of Proposition 2 1/2. This question was on the June 6, 2017 Annual Town Election ballot and was approved.
