Public Parks and Recreation
Goodale Park and Woodland Park are West Boylston's two town facilities that offer tennis and baseball courts,baseball, football and other sports fields for school and public use. Pride Park playground is located next to the elementary school. More information on the many youth sports programs can be found online. The Town of West Boylston is currently building a top-notch recreation program for all of its residents, regardless of age or ability.
Wachusett Reservoir
This 4,135-acre reservoir was built between 1897-1908 by damming the South Branch of the Nashua River. Its primary purpose is to supply drinking water for the Boston area, thus public access is carefully regulated. Hiking, cross-country skiing and mountain biking is allowed in specific areas. Shore fishing is available from dawn to dusk daily in season. Interpretive Services such as classroom programs and field trips are offered to schools and groups in or bordering the watershed areas. Wachusett Greenways - Rail Trail
Wachusett Greenways is an all-volunteer non-profit group whose mission is to link the communities of the Wachusett regions with trails and greenways. The group has partnered with the state and local resources to build the central 30 miles of the Mass Central Rail Trail through Sterling, West Boylston, Holden, Rutland and Oakham. West Boylston is host to three completed miles of the rail trail along the Quinapoxet River.
Wachusett Country Club
Opened in 1911, Wachusett Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course with a full-service golf shop and practice facility including a driving range and putting green. The course was designed in 1927 by Donald Ross. Dining is available on-site at the Ross Tavern and the club is available for functions and events.

Just 30-minutes from West Boylston, Wachusett Mountain Ski Area is located in Princeton and offers downhill skiing in winter on 26 trails, and nearly 110 acres. It is the largest ski area in eastern Massachusetts. Tower Hill Botanic Garden
