The Semi-Annual Town Meeting will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Middle/High School located at 125 Crescent Street.

At the Spring Semi-Annual Town Meeting the budget for Fiscal Year 2025 will be set.  This budget encompasses both the Town and School operations.  In addition, voters will weigh in on capital expenditures, General Bylaw additions and amendments, Zoning Bylaw additions and amendments, and many other items.

Staff, Boards, Committees, and Commissions have been hard at work over the last several months, and in some cases over the last year, preparing the various items for Town Meeting.  In particular, the Select Board, School Committee, Finance Commitee, Planning Board, and Bylaws Commitee have been holding public meetings and discussing individual warrant articles, the budget, and capital requests.  If you have not been able to view these meetings and would like to catch up, you can view recordings here.

In the next several weeks we will be finalizing the Town Meeting warrant and the Fiscal Year 2025 budget.  In advance of Town Meeting there will be opportunities to engage Town Staff as well as Boards and Committees to learn more information prior May 20th.  In particular, the Finance Commitee will be holding a Budget Information Public Forum at the Senior Center on May 13, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. The Town Administrator will be holding a Q&A on the warrant articles at a date and time to be determined.  The Planning Board will be holding a Public Hearing on Zoning Articles at their May 8, 2024 meeting.  Public Meetings are posted here.

As we approach Town Meeting, a lot of information will be posted on the Town website.  Make sure to subscribe so that you can stay informed!
