Winter Snow Storm Reminders

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 5 AM EST TUESDAY

Heavy snow is expected with a total snow accumulations of 7 to 15  inches and winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

Republic Services has decided that due to the weather conditions today they are not running the Monday trash and recycling routes.  They have every intention of completing the Monday route on Tuesday, however, the weather conditions for tomorrow may not allow them to do so.  

Also keep in mind the town’s Winter Parking Ban is in effect, NO PARKING IS ALLOWED ON THE STREETS FROM MIDNIGHT TO 5 AM.  This will allow our plow drivers to do their job.

If you have not already done so, you may want to consider adopting a hydrant in your neighborhood. Your assistance in clearing three feet around fire hydrants and keeping them free from snow and accessible throughout the winter is greatly appreciated and saves valuable response time should there be a fire in your neighborhood.
