School Building Committee Announcement
Dear WB Families and Staff,
In December 2024, West Boylston was accepted into the initial stage of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) reimbursement/grant program. As a result, we are in the process of exploring a new school building project for our community! With our Major Edwards Elementary School approaching 100 years old and our Middle High School approaching 70 years old, we are most fortunate as a community to begin this process of exploring a much-needed upgrade for our children.
To help support this exploration, our School Building Committee (SBC) has created a website filled with lots of helpful information on this important process and the steps ahead.

In addition, our SBC will be hosting three community forums to help explain the Eligibility Phase process and other areas of importance raised by our community when considering this critical project for our kids.
- September 30, 2025 @ 7:00pm: School Building Committee Community Forum at Middle High School with focus on Regionalization
- October 9, 2025 @ 6:00pm: School Building Committee Community Forum at Middle High School with focus on Capital Improvement Planning for current school buildings
- October 14, 2025 @ 7:00pm: School Building Committee Community Forum at Major Edwards Elementary School with Walkthrough, Project Overview, and 10/20 Feasibility Vote information
