LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF WEST BOYLSTON BOARD OF ASSESSORS FISCAL YEAR 2022 VALUATIONS AVAILABLE

The West Boylston Board of Assessors has completed a
property revaluation for fiscal year 2022. Valuations which
are pending Massachusetts Department of Revenue
certification are available for public inspection at the
Assessors’ Office until (DATE). Taxpayers may obtain a
property record card and discuss valuation issues during
this time. Valuations are available online by clicking the
link below. The Assessors page has access to a live
Assessing agent for further discussion through 12/6/2021.

Office hours are:

Monday-Wednesday 9am to 2:00 pm, Thursday 9am-1pm
Valuations reflect market value estimates as of January 1,
2021, utilizing calendar year 2020 arm’s length market
sales.

Single Family dwellings saw an average 6.70% increase.
Apartment class properties saw an average 15% increase.
The commercial class saw less than a 1% increase.
The industrial class saw a 2.4% increase.
These valuations will be used to calculate final tax
payments for fiscal year 2022.

Applications for abatements will be accepted during the
period January 1 – February 1, 2022.
