Our Annual Town Election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Registered voters can cast their ballots at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Street from noon until 8:00 pm. The deadline to register to vote in this election is May 16, 2018 and the Town Clerk's office will be open until 8:00 pm on that evening to accept registrations.
Absentee Ballots are now available!
You may request an absentee ballot by filling out the absentee ballot request form or sending a written request to the Town Clerk. You may also vote in person at the Town Clerk's office during regular business hours. According to MA law, you MAY NOT pick up a ballot from the Town Clerk's office and bring it home. Absentee Voters must either vote in the office or have the ballot mailed to them.
You can view a Sample Ballot here. Please note that Robert C. Chisholm withdrew from the race for Selectman on May 11. However, since the official deadline to withdraw had passed, Mr. Chisholm's name will still appear on the ballot.
The Item newspaper will sponsor a candidates’ night on Tuesday, May 15, beginning at 6:30 pm, in the municipal office building. The forum will be taped for broadcast by WBPA-TV for broadcast before the June 5 election.
