Since the Owner's Project Manager (OPM) previoulsy chosen by FISP, left the company with whom the town had contracted, the town exercised the option in the contract to re-open the RFQ process. Now assisting FISP with this project as our OPM is, Colliers International of Agawam MA. The Project Manager assigned to our project is Tony DiLuzio, the same project manager that expertly guided the police station project, and the design phase of this senior center project. We are very pleased that Tony DiLuzio will be on board to help us with the completion of the senior center.
Caolo & Bieniek Associates, Inc. (CBA) of Chicopee MA remains as the architect for the construction phase of the senior center building. This firm's design team includes architect John MacMillan who was the architect used for the design of the police station building.
Construction is being done by RAC Builders of Agawam MA. This is the same contractor who successfully constructed our police station on time and under budget. Working with this continued team of professionals, we have every expectation that this project be as carefully and cost effectively constructed as our new police station.

Owner's Project Manager
Cardinal Construction, Inc. of Worcester MA has been chosen as the Owner's Project Manager (OPM) for this project. Tony DiLuzio from Cardinal Construction has been acting as the OPM for our Police Station project and we are pleased that Mr. DiLuzio will be working on the Senior Center project as well.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires the appointment of an Owner's Project Manager on all public building projects of this size. The OPM acts as the town's agent and consultant from design through completion and must be independent from the designer, general contractor and any sub-contractors.
Caolo & Bieniek Associates, Inc. (CBA) of Chicopee MA has been chosen as the architect for the design of the senior center building. This firm's design team includes architect John MacMillan who was the architect used for the design of the police station building. He has since joined CBA, and we feel confident he will bring that same cost effective design to the senior center project as well.
