Neighbors Helping Neighbors

On the evening of Thursday, January 19th, a young family living on Colonial Hill Drive lost their home, all of their belongings and their family pet to fire.   This week, we are seeing an outpouring of care, concern and assistance by their neighbors, and by residents all across our wonderful town.  Fund raisers are currently underway,  and anyone interested in helping this family can find details at the West Boylston Neighbors Connect Facebook page.  For example, donations of gift cards can be dropped off at THE LITTLE GYM, whose owner has generously offered the gym as a drop off point.  The gym is located in the Meadowbrook Plaza, 342B, West Boylston Street. The business hours are: M-Th: 8:30am – 7pm, Friday: 3:30 – 6pm, and Saturday: 8am-2pm. 

While the fire was a tragedy that affected this family deeply, our community response to this has been immediate, generous and heart-warming.  Our town is lucky to have so many generous and supportive people.
