The Municipal Buildings Committee was established by a special act, Chapter 79, An Act Establishing a Municipal Building Fund and a Municipal Building Committee in the Town of West Boylston.

Membership and qualifications
The Municipal Buildings Committee is made up of a five member board. The board shall be made up of the Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, the Chairman of the Finance Committee, the Chairman of the Board of Library Trustees, or their designees, all of whom shall serve ex officio and two registered voters of the Town of West Boylston to be appointed for a three-year term, and who are not members of the Board of Selectmen, the Finance Committee or the Board of Library Trustees of the Town of West Boylston.
