Veterans' Services Department
Every town or city in the Commonwealth is required by Chapter 115 of the Massachusetts General Laws to have a Veterans' Agent.  The Town of West Boylston has a part-time agent, who is available on Tuesday afternoons at the Mixter Building and on call at other times.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Veterans' Agent include providing information, advice and assistance to veterans and their dependants to enable them to procure benefits to which they are or may be entitled.  These benefits include employment, vocational or other educational opportunities, hospitalization, medical care, burial and other veterans' benefits.

All veterans have the right to file for assistance through the Veterans' Agent, but you must qualify under Chapter 115 before any aid is granted.  The State Commissioner of Veterans' Services is the final authorizer for all monetary requests.

Our Veterans' Agent works in close coordination with the State Office of Veterans' Services and other Veterans' Agents in Worcester County.  Please call 508-835-2714 or 508-835-6340 to request help in understanding your benefits, obtaining applications or completing forms.  We are pleased to answer any questions or set up an appointment if needed.
