DISASTER ASSISTANCE
Deadline: May 28, 2010
The deadline to apply for Disaster Assistance for damage sustained in the flooding that occurred this spring, beginning on March 12, 2010. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Small Business Association (SBA) are offering financial assistance and low-interest loans to provide funds for losses that are not covered by your insurance. If you are approved for a loan, you are under no obligation to accept it. If you sustained any water, mold or moisture damage from the storm event, please register your claim before the May 28, 2010 deadline. If you had any water damage, you are encouraged to register a claim now to protect you if mold problems appear later this summer as a result of this damage.
