The Primary Election for the United States Senate seat left open after Senator Kennedy's death is scheduled for December 8, 2009. The primary will be held at the Town Offices, 127 Hartwell Street between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Please note that this location differs from the town's usual polling place.
The last day to register to vote in the December 8 primary election is November 18, 2009. The Town Clerk's office will be open that day from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
