West Boylston Fire Department
Open Air Burning is allowed from JANUARY 15th to MAY 1st at the discretion of the Fire Chief or his designee.  In order to burn you must first download the burning permit, fill it out and pay a one time seasonal non-refundable fee of $10.00.  Bring the permit bring it to the West Boylston Fire Department for approval before you do any outdoor burning.  All payments are to be made by check only.

Once you have obtained a permit, it is valid throughout the Open Air Burning Season. However, on a day that you wish to burn, you must first call the Public Safety Communication Center between 8AM and 10AM (508-835-3233) to find out if burning will be allowed for that day.  If burning is allowed, you will need to give your permit number, name and address where the burning will take place to the dispatcher.  NOTE: this must be the address on the permit, as the permit is only valid for one location.

Burning is allowed from 10AM until 4PM.  All fires must be completely extinquished by 4PM.

If a fire starts to burn out of controll, call 911 immediately!
