Our residents cherish their historic roots, family-oriented neighborhoods, and small businesses. We are proud of our excellent, high-ranking schools, from which 90% of graduates go on to college. An effective public safety department leads to a low crime rate. Other town services include recreational programs, a fine library, senior citizen services and well-maintained roads.
The Town's desire to offer an excellent quality of life for its residents is reflected in programs such as the West Boylston Healthy Living Program, which incorporates both residents and Town employees and includes a focus on physical activity, health education and healthy choices.
Each month, information on a health topic is posted on the Town website and announced on the public access cable channel. Public programs or seminars on the subject are also noted on the website and cable channel.

 West Boylston is fortunate to be located just minutes from one of the most trusted medical centers and teaching hospitals in New England. UMass Memorial Medical Center has three campuses located in Worcester, plus a network of care including community-based physician practices, home health, hospice, rehabilitation and behavior health services. It is also the clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Medial School, where physicians and staff teach tomorrow's health care professionals and participate in research efforts with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment protocols.

 Long Term CareLocated in West Boylston, Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center is a recently renovated 92-bed skilled nursing facility that offers numerous services including Short Term Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Hospice Care, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, Dementia Care and Long Term Care. New state-of-the-art rooms and a new Rehabilitative Suite accommodate many needs. Oakdale's focus remains on quality resident and family comfort with an expanded dining room with restaurant-style dining, plus larger activity and common areas where families can relax together.
