EDUCATION
 West Boylston Public Schools
West Boylston Public Schools educate approximately 1,100 students in an elementary and a junior-senior high school. This relatively small learning community allows students and staff to work closely in a supportive learning environment. West Boylston students achieve high levels of performance, as shown by MCAS test results and the high percentage (~90%) of students who go on to post-secondary education. A well-rounded curriculum includes A.P. courses, a school-to-career program and is enhanced by courses offered through the VHS on-line learning program. Students can participate in a wide range of extracurricular programs. Parent and community
involvement is extremely high through a number of organizations and volunteer groups.

With its close proximity to Worcester, West Boylston is conveniently located near many of the nation's best schools of higher education, including state schools, private two and four year colleges, and technical schools. West Boylston employers benefit greatly from this highly educated workforce within easy recruiting distance.
 Salter CollegeLocated in West Boylston, Salter College is a private two-year college that offers an enriching balance of liberal arts and professional career education. Founded in 1937 in Worcester, today Salter College offers complete training through programs in preparation for professional careers in business, health care and computers. Associate degree programs are available in Accounting, Medial Assisting and Office Administration. Certificate programs and non-credit education is offered in almost a dozen other career paths.
Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc.
Founded in 1968, the Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc. is an alliance of public and private colleges in Central Massachusetts that works cooperatively both to further the missions of the member institutions individually and to advance higher education regionally.
