Christmas Tree Chipping
 The West Boylston DPW will be recycling used Christmas trees by chipping them on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the DPW garage, 35 Worcester Street. Christmas trees can be dropped off in advance at the garage on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, January 18th through the 20th, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Christmas trees can be left in the posted area, on those dates, against the guardrail near the public sand pile.
Please make sure that all ornaments and lights have been removed from the trees. Wood chips from the trees will not be able to be returned. Also, artificial trees will not be able to be chipped. Finally, only Christmas trees will be accepted: brush, trees, leaves, etc. will be rejected.
