Town of West Boylston
Yard Waste Recycling
West Boylston’s Acting Director of Public Works has announced the following dates for the Yard Waste Recycling Facility on Laurel Street. Residents are urged to recycle their leaves, grass clippings and other easily raked materials through this facility, as disposal in the trash is prohibited. Use paper yard waste bags or clearly marked barrels (which must be removed). No plastic bags are allowed. Brush/branches under 6” in diameter may be brought as well for recycling.
The Town received some interest in having the majority of the collections on a Saturday however many respondents also preferred weekday collections. The list below is the schedule for this year.
April 30, 2011, Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
June 4, 2011, Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
July 1, 2011, Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
August 6, 2011, Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
September 2, 2011 (Labor Day is September 5th) Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
October 1, 2011, Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
November 5, 2011, Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
