This week's show features two awesome bands from different ends of the rock spectrum. Ruckus is an 8-piece ska band full of sax and horns and rhythm to get you on your feet. After they open, Powerplay will rock till you drop with covers from the '70s to now. Guaranteed great music to kick back and kick in on a Saturday night. Let all your friends know.
This is tour last show for the first part of the season. After Saturday, we take a midsummer break while the reconstruction of Goodale Park gets under way (which will knock out our electricity - key for rock - for a little while). Then we're back for 3 shows on August 28, September 11 and September 18, starting with the funk jameisters Mellow Mafia and the barrelhouse rock of Jason James on August 28.
Remember, proceeds go to benefit school arts & music programs. The more people come and enjoy the evening the more we can ensure our students can continue to live and learn creatively.
